Fillr Privacy Policy

How Fillr handles your data. The short answer: it doesn't leave your device.

Fillr - Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026  ·  Applies to: Fillr for iOS

The short version: Fillr stores all your data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not collect it, transmit it, or have any access to it. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, no advertising, and no trackers.

What is Fillr

Fillr is a local-first iOS app for tracking vehicle fuel, expenses, and maintenance records. It is developed and published by WolfMark Ltd (company number 17176391, registered at Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, England, IP28 7DE).

This privacy policy applies to the Fillr iOS app only. For information about how the WolfMark website handles data, see the Website Privacy Policy.

Data Storage

All data you enter into Fillr - including vehicles, fuel records, expense logs, mileage entries, and any other information - is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

We do not collect, transmit, receive, or have any access to the data you enter into Fillr. Your records exist only on your device and are not sent to WolfMark or any third party.

If you delete the app, all data stored by Fillr is removed from your device. We cannot recover it for you.

No Accounts or Cloud Sync

Fillr does not require an account to use. There is no registration, no sign-in, and no user profile linked to WolfMark or any other service.

Fillr does not sync your data to any cloud service operated by WolfMark. We have no servers that store your vehicle data, and no back-end systems that process it.

iCloud Backup

If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, Apple may include Fillr's local data as part of your device backup. This is controlled entirely by your iCloud settings and is handled by Apple under their privacy policy.

WolfMark has no access to any data backed up via iCloud. To opt out of iCloud Backup for Fillr specifically, you can manage per-app backup settings in your iOS Settings under your Apple ID - iCloud - Manage Account Storage - Backups.

Notifications

Fillr may request permission to send you local notifications - for example, to remind you about upcoming services or MOT renewals. These reminders are generated and delivered entirely on your device and do not involve any network connection to WolfMark or third parties.

You can grant or revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings - Notifications - Fillr. Declining notifications does not affect the core functionality of the app.

In-App Purchases (Fillr Pro)

Fillr may offer optional paid features under the name Fillr Pro, available as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple.

WolfMark does not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or any financial information. Apple's privacy policy governs how payment data is handled during the purchase process.

WolfMark may receive aggregated, anonymised sales reports from Apple. These reports do not include identifiable personal information about individual purchasers.

Data Exports

Fillr may allow you to export your data (for example, as a CSV or other file format). Any export is created on your device and goes wherever you choose to send it - your Files app, email, a cloud storage service, or elsewhere. WolfMark does not receive copies of any exported data.

You are responsible for how you store or share any exported files.

Diagnostics and Crash Reporting

If you have opted into Apple's diagnostic and usage data sharing (configured in iOS Settings - Privacy and Security - Analytics and Improvements), Apple may share anonymised crash reports and usage data with app developers, including WolfMark. This is governed by your iOS settings and Apple's privacy policy.

Any crash data received through Apple's system does not include your vehicle records or other personal data entered into Fillr. It is used only to identify and fix software bugs.

Fillr does not independently integrate any third-party crash reporting or analytics SDKs.

Tracking and Advertising

Fillr does not track you. Fillr does not serve advertising.

We do not use advertising identifiers, behavioural tracking, or any third-party advertising SDKs. Fillr does not participate in cross-app tracking or share any data with advertising networks.

Fillr's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) status is: no tracking requested.

Third Parties

Fillr does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection SDKs. The only third-party framework used is Apple's own platform frameworks (SwiftData, StoreKit, UserNotifications), which are subject to Apple's privacy policy.

Fillr does not share your data with any third-party services.

Your Control Over Your Data

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control of it at all times:

  • Delete records - remove any entry directly within the app
  • Delete the app - uninstalling Fillr removes all associated data from your device
  • Export your data - use any available export features to take a copy of your records
  • iCloud Backup - manage whether Fillr data is included in iCloud Backup via iOS Settings

WolfMark cannot access, retrieve, or delete your data on your behalf, because we do not hold it.

Children

Fillr is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Fillr, please contact us and we will take appropriate action. In practice, as Fillr does not collect any data, this situation should not arise.

Users Outside the UK

Fillr is published by WolfMark Ltd, a UK company, and is offered on the Apple App Store in multiple countries. Because Fillr stores your records locally on your device and WolfMark does not receive that data, the practical privacy outcome is the same regardless of where you are. Where your local law gives you additional rights over personal data we may hold about you — for example, if you have emailed us for support — we will honour those rights to the extent they apply.

Your UK GDPR Rights

WolfMark Ltd is subject to UK data protection law. Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights regarding any personal data we hold about you:

  • Access - request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification - ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure - ask us to delete your personal data
  • Restriction - ask us to restrict processing in certain circumstances
  • Objection - object to us processing your data
  • Portability - receive your data in a portable format

Because Fillr does not transmit or store your app data on WolfMark's systems, the data you enter into the app is not held by us and cannot be subject to a data subject request directed at WolfMark. The only personal data WolfMark may hold about you is information you have provided by contacting us directly (such as a support email).

To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example if Fillr adds new features. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Continued use of Fillr after changes to this policy constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
